This policy explains what personal data EasyBrandly collects, why, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Data we collect
- Account data: name, email, hashed password (via Supabase Auth).
- Brand check data: brand names, business descriptions, and search results you generate.
- Applicant and filing data: identity and address details needed to file with EUIPO.
- Billing data: handled by Stripe; we store payment status and amounts, never full card numbers.
- Usage data: product analytics events needed to operate and improve the service.
Why we process it
To provide the checker and filing service, to submit your application to EUIPO on your instruction, to operate your subscription and billing, to send service emails, and to comply with legal obligations. Where we rely on consent (e.g. marketing emails), you can withdraw it at any time.
Sharing
We share data with EUIPO (to file and manage your application), Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional email), and Supabase (hosting/database), each acting under their own data processing terms. We do not sell your personal data.
Your rights
Under GDPR you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and object to certain processing. Contact privacy@easybrandly.com to exercise these rights.
Retention
We retain filing-related records for as long as needed to support your trade mark and to meet legal/accounting obligations, and account data until you delete your account, subject to legally required retention periods.
